Days of arrival:
There are no fixed days of arrival. It only depends on the availability rooms.

Flights on good terms:
Please ask your travel agent. Regarding online-booking websites, our guests recommend the following travel agents:

Travel from Thessaloniki to Makrigialos :
Starting from the airport you have to go through Thessaloniki. Just follow the signs to Athen (Athina, Athens). After Thessaloniki you take the Athen highway. After about 60 km you will see the gateway Methoni and Makrigialos. Please follow the signs for "Makrigialos".
Once in Makrigialos, take the main road up to the boardwalk. In the middle of the boardwalk there is a small street. After 100 m you will see the Hotel Dias on the right side.
There are no street names in our village to help orient you, but that is not a problem. Just ask someone if you do not find us.

Duration of the transfer from the airport to the hotel:
It depends on the traffic: between 45 and 60 min.

Payment:
Please pay for the room on site and in cash.

Rooms:
Although the the ocean is just about 100 m away, we only have limited sea views, because our hotel is built on a 90° angle to the ocean.
All rooms are air-conditioned.

Swimming-pool:
We do not have a swimming-pool yet.

Full-board
We would be pleased to offer you full-board. Just ask for it when you book your room.

Bed&breakfast only:
If requested we also offer the option bed and breakfast. Please state your wish when you book your room. But - believe us - you will miss a treat!

Lunch package for daytrips:
You can get a lunch package for daytrips when you are not able to make it back for dinner in the evening. Just ask for it.

Parking areas for motorbikes:
No problem: beside the restaurant's terrace is our parking area. Motorbikes can be locked in the building during night.

Next cash machine (ATM):
Since this summer Makrigialos has a cash machine only some minutes from the hotel.

Transfer back to the airport:
We are pleased to arrange your transfer back to the airport via taxi. It is approximately 45 Euro.

Car rental:
If you wish to rent a car for the duration of your holiday, we recommend the car rental agencies directly at the airport. You usually get the best rates when you rent a car through your travel agent.
Of course it is also possible to rent a car for only one or a few days. In this case we can arrange a rental from an agency in Katerini, the next larger town nearby Makrigialos.

Water temperature in May:
The water temperature in May averages about 18° Celsius. You will find a schedule of the temperature on the weather page.
